We are seeking a transformational Senior Director, Demand and Digital Marketing to redefine customer engagement, demand creation, and revenue growth at Elastic in the AI era. Moving beyond basic program optimization, you will shape our digital strategy, modernize the marketing operating model, and build an AI-enabled organization that delivers measurable business impact.

As a senior member of the Marketing Leadership Team reporting into the CMO, youll lead a global organization of experienced marketing leaders while partnering closely with Product Marketing, Web, Sales, Revenue Operations, Product, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to influence GTM strategy and accelerate pipeline growth

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Digital Strategy & Demand Generation: Execute Elastics global digital strategy across paid media, integrated campaigns, and lifecycle email marketing. Build an AI-powered, automated demand engine using predictive analytics to maximize pipeline across channels, replacing legacy approaches with data-driven experiences that improve customer engagement, pipeline velocity, and marketing efficiency.

* Digital Experience & Marketing Innovation: Lead the evolution of Elastics digital presence from awareness to conversion, optimizing interactions through personalization, AI, and continuous testing. Champion emerging marketing technologies and automation to accelerate campaign execution, enhance customer journeys, and enable real-time organizational decisions.

* Integrated Campaigns & GTM Partnership: Lead Elastics end-to-end integrated campaign strategy for Search AI, Observability, and Security solutions. Align full-funnel programs with GTM priorities and customer journeys to resonate with developers and technical decision-makers. Partner cross-functionally with Brand, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure digital investments support business goals.

* Customer Marketing: Champion the voice of Elastics existing customer base across digital and campaign channels. Partner with Renewals, Customer Success and Product to develop lifecycle programs, expansion campaigns, and advocacy initiatives that deepen retention, accelerate upsell, and turn customers into vocal champions of Elastics solutions.

* Leadership & Organizational Excellence: Lead and develop a global organization of marketing leaders responsible for Digital, Paid Media, Campaigns, Email Marketing, and Lifecycle Marketing. Build leadership capability, strengthen organizational design, and establish operating rhythms that enable high-performing teams to execute at scale. Foster a culture built on innovation, experimentation, accountability, and continuous learning.

* Cross-Functional GTM Partnership: Serve as the leader for Digital & Campaigns within Elastics broader GTM organization. Partner closely with Brand, Product Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success to ensure digital investments directly support business priorities and revenue growth.

* Performance, Analytics & Investment Strategy: Own the measurement framework connecting digital engagement to business outcomes. Define key KPIs-from acquisition to pipeline and revenue-using data to guide investments, prioritize opportunities, and improve performance. Manage and optimize global digital marketing budgets to maximize growth, efficiency, and business impact.

QUALIFICATIONS

* 15+ years leading B2B marketing organizations across digital marketing, integrated campaigns, demand generation, and GTM strategy.

* 7+ years leading global teams, building high-performing organizations, and developing leadership talent.

* Proven enterprise SaaS GTM success, with deep knowledge of complex buying journeys, sales motions, and technical/executive marketing.

* Strong understanding of digital ecosystems, including paid media, martech, analytics, attribution, and AI-enabled marketing.

* Experience leveraging generative AI, predictive analytics, and automation to enhance marketing effectiveness and business outcomes.

* Exceptional executive presence with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving cross-functional global change.

* Experience managing global digital marketing investments and optimizing multimillion-dollar budgets for growth and efficiency.
