Production Clerk — Manufacturing

Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.50/hour
Shift/Schedule: 2:30pm-1am, M-Thurs

About the Role

We're hiring a Production Clerk to support daily operations in a manufacturing environment. This role handles production documentation, reporting, and system updates, and plays a key part in keeping records accurate and communication flowing between production teams and shifts.

What You'll Do

• Print and manage picking lists and work orders in the ERP system
• Release, track, and complete production batches
• Review production paperwork for accuracy and completeness
• Report finished goods (cases, units, and pounds) per work order
• Perform cycle counts and material verification
• Track machine speeds and production output
• Create end-of-shift production reports
• Communicate with production teams and incoming/outgoing shifts
• Assist with troubleshooting system or documentation issues
• Support onboarding/check-in of temporary employees as needed
• Provide general administrative support to production leadership

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma preferred
• Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements

• Office-based role with frequent interaction on the production floor
• Frequent walking, standing, and computer use
• Ability to lift/push up to 50+ lbs as needed
