HR Director

We are partnering with our client seeking a HR Director. you'll play a crucial role in shaping our organization's human resources function. Your responsibilities will span strategic direction, daily operations, and talent management. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you'll drive innovation, foster collaboration, and mentor staff. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $110,000 to $120,000 per year.

• Design and implement robust HR policies, procedures, and systems.
  
  
• Collaborate with senior Directors to align HR strategies across talent acquisition, training, compensation, and performance management.
  
  
• Manage the full recruitment life cycle, ensuring fairness and consistency.
  
  
• Provide guidance to hiring managers and interviewers on best practices.
  
  
• Partner with Directors to implement performance management strategies.
  
  
• Promote a culture of belonging and development.
  
  
• Collaborate on initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  
  
• Maintain accurate employee records.
  
  
• Oversee HR information systems (HRIS) administration.
  
  
• Lead day-to-day HR operations.
  
  

• Advanced knowledge of California labor laws and regulations.
  
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data, make informed decisions, and devise effective HR solutions.
  
  
• Proficiency in HRIS systems.
  
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software applications.
  
  
• Proven track record in building and scaling HR functions and programs from the ground up, including policy creation, systems development, and talent management.
  
  

• 5 years of progressive HR management experience.
  
  
• 2+ years in a non-profit environment.
  
  
• 2+ years of experience leading, managing, and mentoring HR teams.
