As we continue expanding, we're looking for a IT Support Specialist to join our team in Evans, Georgia and help power the technology that keeps our business moving forward. The Opportunity Reporting directly to the IT Infrastructure Manager, you'll play a critical role in supporting our employees, strengthening security practices, managing endpoints, and helping maintain a reliable technology environment across the organization. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and expanding their technical expertise across infrastructure, cybersecurity, identity management, and system administration. What You'll Do Helpdesk & Employee Support Provide responsive technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges both remotely and in person. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals. Manage support tickets and ensure timely resolution based on service expectations. Create and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access levels. Contribute to knowledge base documentation and support resources. Training & User Enablement Support employee technology training initiatives. Lead IT onboarding sessions for new team members. Educate users on security best practices and core business applications. Share documentation and process improvements that enhance efficiency and consistency. Infrastructure & System Maintenance Assist with monitoring and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure. Participate in routine updates, patch management, and maintenance activities. Identify and elevate potential issues before they impact business operations. Security & Governance Support endpoint management, device compliance, and policy enforcement. Assist with identity and access management, including MFA support and access reviews. Monitor and respond to security alerts, phishing reports, and suspicious activity. Help troubleshoot network-related issues including Wi-Fi, printing, and connectivity concerns. Maintain documentation for IT assets, procedures, workflows, and security requirements. Support the full lifecycle of company-owned technology assets. Assist with security awareness initiatives and employee education programs. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2-4 years of IT support, systems administration, endpoint administration, or related technology experience. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Customer-first mindset with a passion for helping others succeed. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously develop technical skills. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field. Experience with: Microsoft 365 Okta Windows and macOS environments Endpoint management platforms Email security solutions Ticketing systems Basic networking concepts Why recteq?
