This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to connect with students and their families from the comfort of your own home. You will integrate with our outpatient mental health clinic’s multidisciplinary team, collaborating with fellow therapists, psychiatrists, and educational staff to create a cohesive approach to mental health care. Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LCSW, you will be instrumental in providing mental health psychotherapy in a school setting. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments of students to identify mental health issues, developing tailored treatment plans based on best practices.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), suited to the individual needs of each student.

• Maintaining up-to-date and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and efficacy in treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population of school-aged children and adolescents who present various emotional and behavioral challenges. These may include anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and more. Your focus will be to provide not only direct therapeutic interventions but also guidance and support to families, empowering them to navigate their children’s mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license to practice in California.

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, specifically in providing mental health psychotherapy.
