As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Indianola, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.28 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide courteous customer service at a healthcare facility front desk by greeting visitors, answering questions, and directing patients, guests, and vendors to appropriate locations.
• Monitor access to the facility in accordance with site-specific policies, verify visitor credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Support security-related procedures by communicating with site personnel, reporting unusual activity, and responding to incidents or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Assist with emergency response activities by following established procedures, notifying appropriate personnel, and providing clear information to visitors and staff.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
