KC Sunshine Services is a family-owned plumbing company serving the Kansas City area. We are looking for a dependable, organized Office Administrator/Dispatcher to help keep our customers, technicians, and daily schedule on track.

This is a full-time, in-office position. Starting pay is $12–$15 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer emails
• Schedule plumbing service appointments
• Dispatch technicians and keep the daily schedule organized
• Communicate schedule changes and job updates to customers
• Enter and update customer and job information in Jobber
• Make sure technicians submit job notes, pictures, line items, and required authorization information
• Follow up on open estimates, unfinished jobs, and unpaid invoices
• Prepare basic invoices and assist with general office paperwork
• Monitor the dispatch email and respond to warranty-company requests
• Maintain organized digital records and job files
• Help resolve routine customer concerns professionally
• Assist the owners with other office duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Dependable and able to arrive on time
• Comfortable answering phones and speaking with customers
• Organized and able to manage several tasks at once
• Basic computer, email, and data-entry skills
• Able to communicate clearly with customers and technicians
• Willing to learn our scheduling and job-management software
• Previous office, customer-service, or dispatching experience is preferred
• Plumbing, HVAC, home-service, or warranty-company experience is a plus
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply
