Work Environment

The facility spans a generous area of 5,000 square feet, equipped with advanced equipment and rehabilitation tools to provide comprehensive orthopedic therapy. The work environment promotes collaboration among a team of dedicated professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), ensuring that you have the support needed to provide exemplary care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient conditions comprehensively to develop individualized treatment plans that aid in their recovery and enhance mobility.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic modalities and interventions that focus on increasing range of motion, strength, and overall functionality.
• Educate and motivate patients about their treatment plans, ensuring they are engaged and proactive in their rehabilitation process.
• Maintain an efficient patient load of approximately one patient per hour to provide high-quality, focused care.
• Develop customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs, taking into account their rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care across the continuum.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system for continuity of care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida is required.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on professional license, ensuring a commitment to ethical practice.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is essential for this role.
• Experience in working with a diverse patient population to create inclusive treatment approaches.
• Comfort with developing and implementing exercise programs tailored to specific physical rehabilitation goals.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position includes a salary range of USD 130,000 to 140,000 per year.
