About this role: As a Physician in Breast Surgical Oncology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will join a growing breast surgery division with the opportunity to contribute to the development of a service-oriented breast surgery program across Salt Lake County. The ideal candidate will be passionate about breast surgery, collaborative in nature, and committed to advancing breast cancer care in our community. You'll practice at Intermountain Medical Center You'll have at least two dedicated block days of surgery and two clinic days per week You'll provide exclusive breast surgery care with no general surgery or ER call expectations You may need to cover call for your own patients You'll participate in tumor boards and specialty breast cancer meetings Competitive salary including incentive compensation, a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance (if applicable) How we'll support you: You will be paid a guaranteed base annual salary, with additional productivity & quality incentives available. $30,000 sign-on bonus Up to $20,000 in relocation assistance (if eligible) We care about your well-being, which is why we provide our caregivers with a generous benefits package. What you'll bring: Fellowship-training in Breast Surgical Oncology required MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery and/or Breast Surgical Oncology Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process About us: Intermountain Health is a model health system by providing extraordinary care and superior service at an affordable cost.
