Bilingual Social Worker - ASL Required Starting Salary: Bachelor's Degree $59,826 - $71,791; Master's Degree $65,929 - $79,114. Responsibilities Work with individuals with developmental disabilities over 3 years old and families to advocate for and secure services. Participate in assessment, develop, implement, and coordinate Individual Program Plans, and complete required documentation. Manage a wide range of active cases requiring professional social work skills, including creative planning and acquiring services. Participate in ongoing social assessments, collect data for the interdisciplinary team, design, monitor, and revise program plans. Initiate and terminate regional center funding and ensure purchased services are delivered. Prepare required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner; maintain records in compliance with federal and state requirements. Advocate for individuals and families to assure receipt of entitled services, encourage participation, and review available resources. Initiate referrals, monitor progress of vendored services, evaluate effectiveness, and identify service gaps. Provide outreach services as assigned; participate in internal and community committees and task forces as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school of social welfare or related human services field; Master’s Degree preferred. Fluency in ASL with thorough knowledge of technical terminology and ability to speak and understand ASL as appropriate. Knowledge of counseling principles, child development behavior, human growth, and family relationships. Case management experience strongly desired. Reliable transportation for regular visits to programs without advanced notice. Independent work skills, sound judgment, teamwork capability, excellent communication, and ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.
