HR Generalist

• Contract to perm opportunity- 6motnh contract to start
• Onsite Coral Gables. Florida (no relo, local candidates only please)

Immediate need for an HRG to support our client, a globally recognized family-owned spirits company with a portfolio of well-known rum, tequila, gin, vodka, and whisky brands with a long history in the premium alcoholic beverage industry.

What you'll do:

• Maintain accurate and compliant employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation.

• Manage document collection, uploads, and record retention in accordance with company policies and privacy regulations.

• Process employee transactions and data updates within Workday, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Support the HR team with routine and ad hoc reporting, metrics, and data requests.

• Assist with HR process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate onboarding administration, including preparation of employment documentation, personnel action forms, and technology/equipment requests.

• Partner with Payroll to facilitate seamless new hire processing and employee setup.

• Create, maintain, and organize employee personnel files and records.

• Administer employment eligibility verification through E-Verify and ensure I-9 compliance.

• Support employee status changes, transfers, promotions, and other employment transactions.

• Assist with offboarding activities, including documentation, system updates, and coordination of separation processes.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience supporting HR operations, employee administration, or HR shared services environments.

• Hands-on experience with HR systems and data management, including employee transactions, reporting, and data validation.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• High degree of discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
