Partner Marketer

Akia is the AI agent for hospitality. Hotels and vacation rental managers hand her guest communication and the day-to-day work: check-in, upsells, guest requests, staff dispatch. She handles it across text, web, and email. Thousands of properties run on Akia today. We're venture-backed, founded by a team of ex-Meta engineers and operators. We're hiring our first senior Partner Marketer. Akia already connects to dozens of property management systems, lock platforms, and payment providers. Every one of those companies has a customer list full of people who should be running Akia, and almost none of it has been marketed yet. That's the job. You'll also be the person who explains an AI agent to partners who have never sold one. Their teams know how to pitch software with buttons and screens. Akia is an agent that does the work, and that's a different conversation. You need to be genuinely fluent with these tools yourself. Reading about them doesn't count. What you'll own. The partner marketing program end to end. Which partners we build with, what we build together, and what it's supposed to return. Partner-sourced pipeline as your primary KPI, with direct accountability for the number and the forecast. Co-marketing across the PMS ecosystem. Joint webinars, co-branded pages, customer stories, campaigns to their lists and ours. Our marketplace presence. The listing, the screenshots, the copy, the reviews. A good listing sends more qualified traffic than most of what else we do with a partner. Partner enablement. The one-pager, the demo script, and the objection handling that let a partner's AE bring Akia into a deal without us in the room. Industry events and associations. HITEC, VRMA, and the regional shows where these relationships actually get made. What we're looking for. 3+ years in partner, channel, or product marketing at a B2B SaaS company, including 1+ years carrying a partner-sourced pipeline number. You've run co-marketing with real partners and can show what it returned. Webinars that filled and listings that converted. Real hands-on fluency with LLMs and agents. You use Claude or ChatGPT every day for actual work, you treat prompting as a craft (context, instructions, examples, iteration), and you've built something with these tools. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Nice to have. Hospitality technology background, or time inside a PMS, channel manager, or hotel tech marketplace. You've written agent instructions, custom GPTs, Claude Projects, or Skills that other people actually used. Up for regular travel. Conferences and partner offices. Why this role. The integrations are already built and the relationships are already warm. Nobody has marketed through them yet.
