Phlebotomist

HJ Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated Qualified Phlebotomist. Location: 901 E 5th St, Cleveland, TX 77327 Note: Must not have any relation with anyone in the TDCJ / state penitentiary Key Responsibilities Perform phlebotomy (blood draws) and standard laboratory technician duties in accordance with the Rules and Regulations relating to Lab Technicians in the State of Texas. Work compassionately and effectively with individuals with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, chemical dependency, and social or physical disorders. Adhere strictly to the rules, regulations, and policies of HHSC, Austin State Hospital, and HJ Staffing (including leave and attendance policies). Complete all mandatory daily reporting, laboratory documentation, and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: One (1) year of phlebotomy / blood-drawing experience is preferred. Licensure & Certifications: Must hold and maintain current, active state/national phlebotomy or lab technician certifications throughout the duration of the assignment.
