IFRS Senior Analyst

Immediate need for a talented IFRS Senior Analyst with experience in the Banking & Financial Industry. This is a 11+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Plano, TX.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 4-5 years+ experience with managing, configuring financial systems.
• Accounting degree (CPA not required but strongly encouraged).
• Hybrid experience: strong Accounting knowledge and foundation together with a technical system background that can translate Accounting business requirements into technical terms.
• Project mentality not necessarily a project manager, but someone that understands how to manage a project, project deliverables, deadlines, gathering business requirements, etc. Self-starter, ability to work independently, and ability to work with a diverse set of stakeholders.
• Proven ability to successfully interact with and influence multiple layers of management and business users.
• Ability to gain consensus and alignment across diverse groups of business and technical users.
• Proved ability to apply critical thinking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Strong aptitude to learn, and flexibility required.
• MS Office Proficiency (Excel is mainly used for project tracking or to provide/present information, not for formulas or calculations).

Preferred/Nice-to-haves:

• HFM system experience.
• Delivery of training to small-medium sized groups.
• Financial services industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with financial systems projects.
• CPA strongly preferred.
