Prep Cook Responsibilities:

• Food Prep : Prepare fresh, high-quality ingredients from scratch for daily service, following specific recipes and procedures.
• Inventory Management : Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing ingredients to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Maintain Cleanliness : Keep workstations, food storage, and prep areas clean and organized, following sanitation and food safety guidelines.
• Quality Control : Ensure that food is prepared to specification and consistently meets Agape’s quality standards.
• Efficient Work : Prepare and portion ingredients in advance to ensure a smooth kitchen flow during peak times.

General Team Member Responsibilities:

• Customer Service : Interact with customers in a friendly, engaging, and professional manner to provide an excellent dining experience.
• Follow Food Safety Standards : Observe food safety, cleanliness, and quality procedures during food prep and service.
• Team Support : Assist in restocking, cleaning, and organizing food stations and dining areas as needed.
• Physical Demands : Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift , with frequent lifting ranging from 25 to 50 lbs .

Qualifications:

• A positive, enthusiastic attitude towards work and customers
• Willingness to learn and develop new cooking skills
• Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods , with frequent lifting up to 50 lbs
• Previous kitchen or food prep experience is a plus, but not required
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle various tasks as needed
