WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR Open Recruitment. 12‑Month Eligibility List. Range 39, $6,657.62 – $8,217.09 monthly. Current vacancy 100%, 12 months (2 vacancies). The incumbent coordinates, organizes and oversees the day‑to‑day operations of assigned Workforce Development grants and training programs; implements and assists in evaluating program and training plans, budgets, procedures, and supporting promotional materials; performs case management of student/participants from start to completion; and performs related duties as assigned. At a Glance Type of position: Full time (40 hours/week) / Bargaining Unit Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Location: Supports both campuses; can be located at Liberal Arts Campus (LAC) or Trades, Technology, and Community Learning Campus (TTC) Salary: $6,657.62 – $8,217.09 monthly Eligibility List: Valid for 12 months once approved or ratified by the Personnel Commission; may be used for related classifications. Advanced salary placement: New employees generally start at the first step; advanced placement may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis. Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package. (See Benefits tab for details.) Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee all Workforce Development grant and training program activities. Assist in planning, evaluating, and budgeting of programs. Develop and maintain promotional materials for programs. Perform case management of student/participants throughout program term. Serve as liaison with external agency representatives involved in assigned training programs. Education, Training and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in public administration, social science or a closely related field and at least two (2) years of increasingly responsible experience in executing workforce development grant and training programs, particularly at community colleges. One (1) of those years must involve responsibilities for program planning, coordination, and implementation. Equivalent combination of training and experience is acceptable. Licenses & Requirements May require a valid California driver’s license and the ability to maintain insurability under the District’s vehicle insurance policy.
