Customer Service Representative

Job Highlights Validate customer purchase orders for accuracy (Supplier information, Payment Terms, Inco Terms, pricing prior to entry). Coordinate corrections as appropriate. Entry of Sales Orders, and changes as required; Work with appropriate departments to resolve any system issues (Logistics, Regulatory, Export, etc). Send customer order confirmations/updates. Process Invoices and correct system issues/errors as required. Monitor open orders for blocks, Cash in advance payments, late orders, and other issues that would prevent an order from shipping as scheduled. Research and update as required. Coordinate the creation and maintenance of customer master data. Follow up with Sales Team and Customers to obtain required documentation for setup. Coordinate tax certificates with tax department for proper order processing. Research/support with account receivable discrepancies. Process returns, credits, and debits as required. Support with Customer Service projects as assigned. Experience / Skills Associate's Degree or higher preferred; A High School Diploma with min 2 years work experience in a manufacturing environment using SAP would be considered. The position requires strong organizational, communication and time management skills. Excellent problem solving, persuasion, negotiation and conflict resolution skills are critical. Proficient working knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP) in a manufacturing environment required. Experience with transportation/logistics and exports preferred. International logistics operations experience and knowledge of export compliance regulations are a plus. Functional knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook is desirable. The established pay range for this position is $59,600 to $87,400. Please note, the actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
