Key Responsibilities Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will encompass an array of responsibilities designed to deliver holistic care to clients. These include: Providing clinical services, developing, and implementing individualized, recovery-focused treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client. Regularly assessing treatment needs and adjusting plans as required to reflect changes in client circumstances or progress. Assisting in the creation, monitoring, and execution of individual service plans, incorporating measurable goals that align with client aspirations. Facilitating skill-building workshops to enhance coping strategies, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills among clients. Educating clients about available community resources and advocating for their connection to services that support their recovery journey. Maintaining accurate and compliant documentation while minimizing paperwork to ensure you can devote more time to direct client engagement. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily serve adults who face varied and complex mental health challenges. Your compassion and expertise will be vital in guiding them toward greater independence and stability. By employing a recovery-oriented approach, you will support clients in navigating life’s challenges, enhancing their quality of life, and achieving meaningful personal goals. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications: A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Current and valid state licensure as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD). Ability to practice independently, demonstrating sound decision-making and critical thinking skills. No disciplinary actions against your professional license. Proficiency in using digital platforms for documentation and telehealth services. A strong commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice, and professionalism. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have: Experience providing direct clinical services in a community mental health setting. Demonstrated ability in the implementation of person-centered treatment strategies. Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing for the establishment of trust and rapport with clients. Knowledge and experience in symptom monitoring and management. A demonstrated ability to maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care. Compensation and Benefits The Moody Mental and Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
