Senior Buyer

Position: Senior Buyer

Compensation: $ 75,000-85,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Boulder, CO

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Buyer to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a purchasing professional who enjoys working cross-functionally, improving supplier performance, and driving smart sourcing decisions. In this role, you’ll support a key manufacturing operation with strategic buying, vendor management, and cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage supplier relationships and maintain accurate lead times
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and supply agreements
• Prepare and evaluate RFP and RFI responses
• Issue purchase orders and monitor contract compliance
• Track supplier performance and lead review meetings
• Support purchasing strategy with data and cost analysis
• Partner with internal teams on planning and procurement needs
• Resolve issues involving returns, shortages, and changes

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least five years of relevant experience
• Background in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of MRP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CPM or APICS certification
• Experience with Syteline ERP
• Working knowledge of contract law
• Accounting or quantitative background
• Experience with make-versus-buy analysis
• Supplier scorecard development experience
• Exposure to global sourcing environments
