The facility offers various tracks for MHT staff: PRN, Full‑Time, and a Career/Clinical Track for aspiring clinicians. MHT staff work directly with assigned client populations, ensuring their safety through robust programming and detailed observations. Responsibilities Assist and monitor clients’ activities of daily living, demonstrating a sensitive, supportive attitude with clients, families, employees, and management. Interact therapeutically with clients in one-to‑one situations, community settings, and group meetings. Maintain a basic understanding of common psychiatric diagnoses. Exercise professional boundaries with clients and communicate effectively. Render safety oversight for clients through detailed client observations (Q‑15’s). Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field preferred. Experience as an MHT in a psychiatric hospital setting with children, adolescents, and/or adults preferred. No license/certification required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Clear criminal background check. Physical ability to walk, stand, sit, climb stairs, and lift over 50 lbs. Eligible for a $1–$3 shift differential in addition to the regular hourly pay rate.
