Senior Welder

Experienced WelderDynapower is seeking an experienced welder with MIL-SPEC or NAVSEA certification to join our team. This position requires precision welding on critical applications meeting military and naval specifications. This is a full-time position with flexible hours, $28-36 per hour start rates, a $2000 signing bonus, and all benefits starting on Day 1!On an average day, you'll:Perform MIG and TIG welding operations in accordance with MIL-SPEC and NAVSEA standards.Maintain accurate welding records and documentation.Conduct visual inspections of completed welds.Work from engineering drawings and welding procedure specifications (WPS).Work closely with team members, engineers, and production supervisors to optimize workflow and improve production processes.Put safety first, all day every day.What You Need To Apply:Current MIL-SPEC welding certification or NAVSEA welder qualificationDemonstrated experience with military/naval specification welding proceduresAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbolsKnowledge of industry safety standards and practices, with a proven track record of adhering to safety guidelinesExperience with non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures preferredFamiliarity with quality control documentation and traceability requirements preferredPrevious work in shipbuilding, defense, or aerospace industries preferredWhat We DoAt Dynapower, we've been helping solve some of the toughest power conversion challenges on the planet for over 60 years. This role routinely uses standard personal protective equipment such as required Safety Glasses and Safety shoes, as well as head and hearing protection and gloves, as required.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
