Billing Specialist

Billing Support Position

This position provides billing support to multiple Project Managers as well as assist other accounting professionals in the accounting department.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare itemized invoices for engineering services

• Contact Project Managers and other senior level managers to obtain or relay project information

• Verify accuracy of billing data and make revisions as needed or requested

• Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found on invoices and other accounting reports

• Code project files and documents according to company procedures

• Keep records of invoices and support documents

• File invoices and other accounting documents

• Assist in gathering information and running various accounting reports

• Assist with other accounting duties within the accounting department as needed or requested

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent

• Minimum of 2+ years' experience in a similar role

• Extremely detail–oriented with high level of accuracy

• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel

• Experience using Deltek Vantagepoint software preferred but not required

• Flexibility in work assignments as priorities change

• Effective communication skills, both oral and written

• Effective interpersonal skills with all level of employees in an organization

• Must be able to work within a team and independently

• Must be reliable and dependable

• Must be able to work from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday with occasional overtime as needed.
