Technical Field Service Technician

Payrate: $27.00 - $29.00/hr. This position involves providing technical field service and support for FTNA systems, with a focus on both electrical and mechanical systems. The role requires a hands-on individual who can work independently at transit authority locations, ensuring the proper functioning and troubleshooting of systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply manufacturer's procedures and guidelines.
• Represent the company in front of the railcar builder.
• Assist the railcar builder and occasionally the transit authority with debugging and troubleshooting FTNA systems.
• Support the railcar builder during car commissioning and warranty phases by providing technical assistance at the transit authority location and railcar assembly plant as required.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems on FTNA systems.
• Confirm problems identified by the railcar builder.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; Technical certification(s) are an asset.
• At least 5 years of experience working as a technician or equivalent.
• Experience in Mass Transit or Rail is valuable.
• Technical competence in both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Valid driver's license.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $27.00 - $29.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
