Employees enjoy being part of a growing organization with a reputation for excellence, teamwork, and long-term success.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Collections Specialist Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 18.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Contact customers regarding past-due accounts and collect outstanding payments.Process and post customer payments while maintaining accurate account records.Resolve billing questions, payment issues, and customer account concerns.Monitor aging accounts and follow collection procedures, including service disconnections when authorized.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely account resolution and excellent customer service.Collections Specialist Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required.Minimum 2 years of commercial collections experience preferred; billing and customer service experience a plus.Bilingual in English and Spanish required.Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to work on a computer for extended periods; willingness to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, as needed.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
