Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at New Horizons Mental Health Center, your daily activities will include:

• Conducting assessments to understand client needs, goals, and backgrounds.
\n
• Providing individual, couple, and family therapy sessions to address a range of issues, including emotional difficulties and relationship dynamics.
\n
• Specializing in cases related to alcohol abuse, psychological trauma, grief and loss, and conflicts within family systems.
\n
• Working collaboratively with clients to develop effective treatment plans and monitor progress toward achieving their therapeutic goals.
\n
• Employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and adapting interventions to meet the specific needs of each client.
\n
• Maintaining accurate documentation of client progress and treatment within required confidentiality standards and compliance protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse client population, including adults as well as children and adolescents. You will engage with families experiencing challenges such as separation, divorce, and blended family dynamics. Your expertise will contribute to improving relationships and enhancing communication among family members, ultimately promoting overall emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical best practices and a passion for patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

In addition to the above qualifications, preference will be given to candidates who possess:
