Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will be diverse and engaging, aimed at fostering patients' functional independence through movement and therapeutic exercise. Your core duties include:

• Consulting with patients to thoroughly understand their physical conditions, medical history, and therapy goals.
• Conducting physical evaluations to diagnose movement dysfunctions and design customized treatment plans.
• Teaching and demonstrating therapeutic exercises and functional techniques, ensuring patients and caregivers understand proper methods of execution.
• Applying manual therapy techniques, including massage and modalities to enhance healing and relieve discomfort.
• Guiding patients in the effective use of mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers.
• Documenting patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and maintaining accurate medical records.
• Providing education to patients and families on in-home treatment options and self-management strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population that includes children and adults across various diagnoses. Qualifications

The following qualifications are required for this position:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
