Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist working onsite within the home care environment, you will have the opportunity to work directly with patients in the comfort of their own homes. This approach not only allows for greater convenience for the patients and their families but also enables therapists to implement tailored therapeutic strategies based on the patient's natural environment. Flexible scheduling between Monday to Friday gives you the ability to tailor your work hours for optimal work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities such as exercise prescription, manual therapy, and mobility training.
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to relieve pain and enhance patients' physical capabilities.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring that treatment plans are adjusted and redefined as needed based on ongoing assessments.
• Educate and train patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic practices and the use of assistive devices for rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for your patients.
• Stay updated on best practices through ongoing education, workshops, and active engagement in professional societies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with diverse patient populations ranging from post-surgery orthopedic patients to those with chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with appropriate technical proficiency.
• Ability to be agile and adaptable in a home care setting.

Preferred Experience
