Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, with a focus on providing home care services to patients in the comfort of their own environments. The role is designed to help patients overcome physical challenges in real-world settings, making a tangible impact on their daily lives. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and establish individualized treatment goals.
• Manage a reasonable caseload, typically handling one patient per hour to ensure quality interaction and personalized care.
• Deliver a range of evidence-based physical therapy treatments aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and improve musculoskeletal performance.
• Create and implement customized fitness and wellness programs, targeting specific patient goals and rehabilitation timeliness.
• Document patient care thoroughly, ensuring all records reflect progress and treatment plans in compliance with federal regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other health practitioners, to enhance comprehensive patient care.
• Evaluate patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Encourage patients towards achieving an active lifestyle while reducing their dependence on medications and surgical interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A professional record free from board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, particularly in an outpatient or home care setting.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software is preferred, with experience in WebPT being a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in home care services specifically for orthopedic patients.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute patient-centered treatment protocols.
• A strong background in team collaboration, particularly in dynamic health care environments.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
