Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Peak Performance, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing individualized treatment plans to alleviate pain, restore mobility, and improve overall functionality for clients based on detailed assessments.
• Overseeing the work of physical therapy assistants, ensuring they are executing therapeutic interventions as per the established care plan.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients by utilizing comprehensive diagnostic tests related to muscle, nerve, joint, and functional capabilities.
• Assessing home environments for rehabilitation opportunities and recommending modifications that promote greater client autonomy.
• Delivering hands-on therapeutic exercises, guiding clients through performance-based activities, and motivating them throughout the process.
• Administering physical therapy modalities, including traction and massage, to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Evaluating and customizing the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices, providing recommendations to enhance their functionality.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss and strategize on optimal treatment approaches for clients.
• Maintaining meticulous clinical records, documenting treatment notes, progress, and updates to care plans for each patient in line with OASIS regulations.
• Providing education and training to clients and their families regarding management techniques for their conditions and the use of therapy modalities.
• Completing regular assessments to revise treatment plans as needed and ensuring effective communication with the wider care team.
• Meeting documentation and reporting deadlines to align with organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our teams work primarily with a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from surgeries, those managing chronic pain conditions, sports injuries, and geriatric clients requiring rehabilitative services to maintain their independence. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Florida, in good standing.
• Sound clinical judgement and a creative approach to problem-solving within a healthcare setting.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with both patients and multidisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time position is competitive, starting at USD 100,000 and going up to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
