Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and evaluations of patients to assess their functional limitations and design personalized treatment plans that meet their rehabilitation needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, continually evaluating patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Actively collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including physicians and healthcare providers, to ensure seamless patient care and continuity throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and wellness practices to empower them in their healing process.
• Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate records that comply with legal and professional standards.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives and contribute to program development, showcasing your leadership skills and commitment to patient education.
• Attend regular staff meetings and professional development workshops to stay current with industry trends, enhancing your skills and the overall competencies of our team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Empower Physical Therapy, you will primarily serve a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A current state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
