Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our Rehabilitation Center in Saint Petersburg, FL. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians, crafting individualized treatment plans that address specific needs and goals.
• Implement treatment protocols across various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports medicine, adapting approaches as necessary based on patient progress.
• Provide comprehensive therapeutic care directly within the clinic, leveraging evidence-based practices to facilitate recovery.
• Enhance patient knowledge and adherence through education, engaging in consultative discussions to empower patients and their caregivers.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans to maximize efficacy and achieve set therapeutic goals.
• Exhibit exceptional customer service skills, contributing to a positive clinic culture and enhancing overall patient experiences.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and improved patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of practical experience in physical therapy.
• Current CPR certification to ensure safety and emergency readiness.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction.
• Proficiency in computer and word processing skills for clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a rehabilitation setting, particularly focusing on outpatient care.

Compensation and Benefits
