Sensual Orthopedic Physical Therapy, PC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in beautiful Saint Petersburg, Florida. Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Saint Petersburg, FL, our rehabilitation facility is designed to foster healing and recovery. You will work onsite, engaging directly with patients from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, in a supportive and dynamic professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to patients, tailoring treatment approaches based on their unique goals and circumstances.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload to ensure quality interactions and thorough care for each patient, dedicating adequate time and attention.
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities to enhance patient mobility and strength, drawing upon extensive knowledge of orthopedic physical therapy.
• Create and oversee comprehensive care plans, incorporating diverse therapeutic techniques that align with each patient's specific rehabilitation goals.
• Promote non-surgical alternatives, aiming to reduce medication reliance while maximizing patient recovery and functionality.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs to facilitate long-term health improvements and prevent further injuries.
• Document patient evaluations, treatment progress, and outcomes using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software for accurate and efficient record-keeping.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Regularly assess treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery trajectories for each patient.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey, emphasizing the importance of persistence and healthy lifestyle choices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients who are recovering from various orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. Your knowledge and skills will make a significant impact by improving their physical capabilities and daily functioning, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in Florida, without any history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of manual therapy techniques and orthopedic rehabilitation.
• A track record of developing and implementing successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for effective clinical documentation.
• Strong commitment to continuing education and staying updated on the latest physical therapy practices supported by research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Expertise in sports medicine and rehabilitation, with a focus on improving athletic performance and recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
