Work Environment

Located in the vibrant setting of Saint Petersburg, our outpatient office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and resources to facilitate high-quality patient care. The position requires on-site work under a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients with various orthopedic conditions, utilizing evidence-based evaluation techniques to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Implement and adapt treatment protocols based on patient evaluations, responding to their progress and any changes in their health status.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive care and addressing any changes in patients' conditions that may necessitate a modification in the treatment plan.

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records, documenting evaluation details, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Attend required meetings, conferences, and training sessions to stay updated on industry best practices and regulations impacting physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Mobility Works, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population suffering from a range of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, and age-related mobility issues. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding patients through their recovery journeys, utilizing individualized treatment plans to help them regain functional mobility and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

• A valid state physical therapy license in Florida is required.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop rapport with a variety of patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy, with a proven track record of successful patient outcomes.

• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems and the ability to adhere to compliance and regulatory standards.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
