Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage individualized physical therapy treatments that focus on maximizing mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing disability based on each client's unique needs and care plan.
• Supervise and provide mentorship to physical therapy assistants, ensuring proper implementation of treatment plans in accordance with state regulations.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical abilities using diagnostic tools, analyzing muscle, nerve, joint function, and overall functional capacities.
• Assess and modify the client's home environment to facilitate rehabilitation and enhance independence.
• Implement prescribed physical therapy interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities, while instructing clients and their families on at-home care and exercises.
• Document clinical progress through comprehensive evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries, and submit timely reports in accordance with organizational policies.
