Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite, focusing on home care environments where the Physical Therapist will visit clients in their residences. As part of our supportive team, you will work under a schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance as you engage with patients in a setting that provides comfort and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine individual needs and establish customized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions and support patients in developing strategies for improved mobility and functionality.
• Maintain an optimal patient caseload to ensure adequate time is devoted to each individual.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, emphasizing evidence-based practices to promote patient healing and independence.
• Promote alternative therapies and non-surgical options to minimize medical interventions and reliance on pharmacological treatments.
• Document patient progress meticulously using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, providing necessary updates and insights on patient care.
• Motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, offering encouragement and education on wellness and injury prevention.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as necessary based on patient feedback and clinical findings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role includes working with a diverse array of patients requiring home care, such as individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, elderly patients with mobility challenges, athletes aiming to enhance performance, and those needing rehabilitation post-injury. Your proactive approach will significantly contribute to the patients' outcomes, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possession of a current and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• No history of sanctions or board proceedings against your license.
• Deep knowledge and expertise in orthopedic and sports medicine therapy techniques.
• Strong manual therapy skills and an aptitude for creating successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for documentation purposes.
• Continuously updated professional knowledge of best practices in physical therapy supported by ongoing research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a home care setting or outpatient clinic.
• Proven ability to manage patient cases effectively with demonstrated outcomes.
• Experience collaborating with other healthcare professionals to devise comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Engagement in ongoing education and professional development in the field of physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This rewarding position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
