Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Saint Petersburg. You will work in a dynamic environment where teamwork is essential, with access to modern tools and technologies to enhance patient care. Your weekly schedule will consist of 40 hours of dedicated service, with some variable weekend shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to identify functional limitations, disabilities, and needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the specific goals and conditions of your patients.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and allied health professionals, to facilitate comprehensive care for each patient.
• Maintain and document accurate records of patient evaluations, treatment protocols, and outcomes in compliance with all applicable laws and professional standards.
• Engage in ongoing communication with patients and their families to educate and involve them in the treatment process and discharge planning.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to support staff, interns, and students, contributing to their professional development.
• Participate in community outreach, quality improvement initiatives, marketing strategies, and program development to promote health and rehabilitation services.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities, including in-services and continuing education workshops.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy is required.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
