Work Environment

You will be working in a vibrant and supportive outpatient clinic environment located in beautiful Saint Petersburg, Florida. The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a predictable work schedule. Our facility boasts a positive atmosphere where teamwork and professional development are highly valued, and you will collaborate with other experienced professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized patient care by assessing unique needs, creating tailored treatment plans, and delivering effective therapeutic interventions to support recovery.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure that adequate time and focus are devoted to each patient's rehabilitation journey.
• Employ advanced techniques in orthopedic outpatient care, with a focus on therapies designed to improve motion, strength, balance, and coordination.
• Implement cost-effective evidence-based treatments as well as non-surgical alternatives to minimize reliance on medications.
• Develop and modify comprehensive care plans that utilize a variety of treatment modalities including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Actively monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to ensure optimal recovery and patient satisfaction.
• Document patient care plans and treatment outcomes accurately using EMR systems, including proficiency in WebPT.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process to promote adherence to treatment protocols.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals to foster a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, joint replacements, and chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients of various ages and backgrounds, understanding their specific limitations and helping them achieve maximum functional independence.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions.
• Demonstrated expertise in various manual therapy techniques and advanced therapeutic exercise programming.
• Strong knowledge of current physical therapy practices, supported by ongoing research and professional development.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for precise patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Expertise in treating orthopedic conditions and customizing treatment strategies for different patient demographics.
• Proven success in implementing fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual needs.

Compensation and Benefits
