Work Environment

Our outpatient office is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and rehabilitation tools, allowing therapists to conduct thorough assessments and provide specialized treatment. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured yet dynamic work life. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to provide comprehensive care to patients and enhance their recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients with a variety of orthopedic injuries and conditions, utilizing a range of assessment tools to determine functional limitations and needs.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on in-depth assessments, patient history, and clinical best practices, ensuring alignment with patients' rehabilitation goals.
• Administering various therapeutic interventions, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modality treatments, tailored to enhance recovery and improve patient outcomes.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to reflect changes in health status and achieving the highest standard of care.
• Educating patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and at-home exercise programs, empowering them to participate actively in their recovery process.
• Collaborating effectively with healthcare peers and specialists to create a synergistic approach to patient care, ensuring all aspects of a patient's health are considered in treatment decisions.
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records, in compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and best practices, to assure continuity of care and facilitate quality assurance efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse group of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will provide targeted care that addresses the unique challenges of each patient, focusing particularly on improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing quality of life.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy practice, particularly in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Proficient knowledge of orthopedic assessment and treatment methodologies, with the ability to employ evidence-based techniques effectively in patient care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential to engage effectively with patients and their families as well as to collaborate with your colleagues.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities, with an aptitude for managing a full caseload in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with advanced rehabilitation technologies and treatment modalities is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth practices.
• Prior experience in patient education, particularly in home exercise programs and self-management strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

Bodywise Physical Therapy LLC offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
