Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all relevant state practice acts while providing physical therapy services, ensuring compliance with regulations governing practice and supervision.
• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients presenting with functional limitations and disabilities, tailoring individual treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide comprehensive evaluation services by reviewing patient histories, performing pertinent assessments, and documenting results and recommendations clearly.
• Execute treatment protocols proficiently, adapting methods based on evaluation findings, patient needs, and evolving healthcare guidelines.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams when necessary, recognizing and documenting any changes in patient conditions that may require adjustments to the care plan.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, including treatment goals and progress summaries.
• Maintain compliance with all corporate and clinical training requirements while ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Evaluate and treat patients diagnosed with conditions requiring physical therapy, clearly documenting the medical necessity of services rendered.
• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving patient access and care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on patients needing outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation services. You will engage with a diverse range of individuals, each with unique medical histories and rehabilitation goals, allowing you to leverage your skills in a person-centered care approach. Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pain management and post-operative rehabilitation.
