Work Environment

The position is located in our outpatient office in beautiful Saint Petersburg, Florida, a city known for its stunning beaches and vibrant cultural scene. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life routine. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify patients' individual goals and specific treatment needs.
• Designing, implementing, and modifying personalized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance mobility.
• Providing evidence-based therapies aimed at reducing pain and improving physical function, which may include strength training, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise.
• Developing tailored fitness and wellness programs that promote recovery and advance patient health objectives.
• Educating patients on self-management strategies and lifestyle modifications that support their recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Regularly documenting patient progress and adjusting care plans based on outcomes and patient feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with diverse orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our clientele ranges from active individuals seeking to regain their mobility to older adults requiring rehabilitation after surgery or injury. Your ability to communicate effectively and to adapt your techniques according to the unique needs of each patient will be essential for achieving successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active state licensing as a Physical Therapist, required for practice in Florida.
• At least two years of clinical experience in a relevant setting, preferably in outpatient orthopedic care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current therapeutic practices and methodologies.
• A genuine passion for helping patients improve their physical health and quality of life.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in developing wellness and fitness programs.
• Familiarity with the latest physical therapy technologies and modalities.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced outpatient environment is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary within the range of $90,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
