Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring function in accordance with established clinical protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' functional capabilities through diagnostic muscle, nerve, and joint tests, creating baseline metrics for progress.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants in the implementation of treatment plans, ensuring adherence to best practices and optimizing patient outcomes.
• Monitor and modify patients' rehabilitative plans based on their progress, condition changes, and feedback from interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, while complying with all regulatory guidelines.
• Educate clients and their families on therapeutic exercises, equipment use, and home modifications to enhance rehabilitation efficacy.
• Participate in case conferences and collaborate with healthcare professionals from various disciplines to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with adults and seniors who require rehabilitation for a variety of conditions, including post-operative recovery, chronic pain management, sports injuries, and neurological disorders. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this role. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a related field combined with significant experience in outpatient settings may be considered.
• An active Florida Physical Therapist license in good standing, free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated mastery of multiple manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise rehabilitation programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT or similar, to maintain precise documentation and reporting.
• A thorough understanding of the latest evidence-based techniques in physical therapy, ensuring that treatment methods reflect modern practices supported by research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient rehab setting or a similar healthcare facility.
