Work Environment

The position is full-time, with an onsite work nature at our outpatient office in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Our facility features a spacious layout that fosters a collaborative atmosphere, allowing our team of two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) to share insights and support each other in delivering top-notch care. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with a balanced work-life structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals, needs, and treatment requirements.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, averaging one patient per hour to ensure individual attention and quality of care.
• Utilize specialized knowledge in orthopedic conditions to administer appropriate therapies and interventions.
• Focus on providing cost-effective treatments that enhance patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall physical function.
• Aim to reduce dependence on medications by implementing alternative modalities and therapeutic techniques.
• Design and update comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances and recovery objectives.
• Create personalized fitness and wellness programs that align with patients' health goals.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, driving them to achieve optimal functionality.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid FL Physical Therapist license with a clear professional record, free from disciplinary actions.

• Excellent skills in communication, patient care management, and empirical assessments.
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT for efficient documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in utilizing various therapeutic modalities and techniques to achieve patient outcomes.
• Previous experience with a diverse patient caseload, tailoring approaches to meet individual needs.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
