Sierra Orthopedic Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our vibrant team in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Work Environment

You will work onsite at our Saint Petersburg clinic, primarily providing care in a bright, welcoming outpatient environment. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a balanced work-life schedule. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with fellow physical therapists and a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in a space designed to promote healing and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments of patients to understand their goals and needs, developing personalized treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and dedicated care.
• Implement and evaluate treatment strategies aimed at improving patients' range of motion and functional abilities in a cost-effective manner.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to address specific orthopedic conditions and enhance patient outcomes.
• Facilitate non-surgical interventions that reduce dependency on medication while promoting holistic recovery.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs, encouraging them to maintain an active lifestyle.
• Regularly assess treatment effectiveness, tracking progress and making necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all patient interactions and treatment protocols using WebPT EMR Software.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic focuses on treating individuals with a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. We primarily serve patients who have private medical insurance, allowing us to provide a continuum of care that prioritizes both recovery and education about maintaining physical health.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong competency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based treatment protocols.
• Experience in designing and implementing individualized exercise programs.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR Software will be considered a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, specifically working with sports-related injuries, is highly desirable.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients and their families about treatment options and progress.
• Adept at motivating patients to achieve their personal health goals through structured therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
