Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of tasks essential for patient recovery and rehabilitation, including:

• Directing comprehensive physical therapy treatments targeting the prevention of long-term disability, reduction of pain, and restoration of physical function.
• Overseeing physical therapy assistants to ensure effective implementation of treatment plans across various patient demographics.
• Performing thorough evaluations of patient functionality using diagnostic tests related to muscle, nerve, and joint performance.
• Assessing patients' home environments to identify opportunities for enhancing their independence and recommending necessary modifications.
• Delivering therapeutic interventions as prescribed, including manual techniques, exercise instruction, and the application of physical agents to promote recovery.
• Regularly documenting clinical progress and adjusting treatment plans based on patient response and feedback.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to integratively discuss patient care strategies and outcomes.
• Educating patients and family members on physical therapy regimens, equipment usage, and strategies for maintaining health outside of therapy sessions.
• Providing timely and accurate documentation of clinical services to uphold compliance and audit standards.

Qualifications
