Centralized Scheduler

To support multiple ambulatory clinics, the part-time Centralized Scheduler will be responsible for scheduling, cancelling, and registering outpatient visits and procedures while collecting necessary patient information remotely. Key responsibilities Obtain and verify patient guarantor information annually to maintain up-to-date records Schedule and register patients according to medical appropriateness and established guidelines Respond to patient and staff inquiries and manage scheduling modifications as needed Required qualifications High School diploma or equivalent State criminal background check and Federal check as required for regulated areas Experience in a healthcare scheduling environment preferred Ability to handle patient communications in a timely manner Familiarity with medical terminology and referral processes is advantageous
