Weekend RN Supervisor: Lead Nursing Excellence

Job Title : RN Weekend Supervisor Location : Neptune, NJ Shift : 7AM - 7PM & 7PM - 7AM We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team. The RN Weekend Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during weekend shifts, ensuring quality resident care, supporting nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with facility policies and state regulations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent clinical and communication skills who is committed to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced SNF environment. Responsibilities Supervise and support nursing staff during weekend shifts Ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with nursing standards Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, residents, and families Assess patient care needs and respond appropriately to changes in condition Promote a compassionate and supportive environment for residents and families Administer medications and treatments as ordered Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records Ensure compliance with infection control policies and safety regulations Address and resolve patient care concerns and staff issues promptly Assist with staffing coordination and nursing team communicationMonitor supplies and equipment to ensure operational readiness Support and enforce facility policies, procedures, and standards of care Perform supervisor duties as directed by the Director of Nursing Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of infection control practices and nursing regulations Sub acute experience preferred Skills Clinical and nursing skills Leadership and team management Medication administration Patient care and health promotion Infection control Verbal and written communication Problem-solving and multitasking Strong bedside manner and professionalism Schedule Weekend shifts Full-time / Part-time available Benefits Competitive pay Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and development #J-18808-Ljbffr
