ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool. This position requires flexibility and a willingness to adapt to various nursing units as needed.

Position Overview

The ICU Registered Nurse will primarily work in the Float Pool, with the potential to be assigned to different ICU floors or a lower acuity unit, including telemetry. The role involves meeting unit needs, especially during weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients across various ICU settings.
• Possibly float to different units as required, demonstrating adaptability in care delivery.
• Engage in effective communication with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in patient assessments, treatment plans, and routine care activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BCLS, and NIH Stroke Scale required.
• Must be willing to work a minimum of every other weekend, with the potential to exceed as needed.
• Availability to work during 3 out of 5 major holidays.
• Must include any requested time off (RTO) at the time of submission.
