In this role, you'll build and deploy the intelligent systems and services that power a fast-scaling platform at the intersection of healthcare, commerce, and technology.Our client is seeking someone who thrives on solving complex problems, shipping production-grade Python, and applying AI/ML to real business outcomes.What You Will Be Doing40% — Python Development: Design, build, and maintain production-grade Python services and APIs that power the platform's commerce and financing capabilities. 30% — AI/ML Engineering: Develop, integrate, and deploy AI/ML models and intelligent features; move solutions from prototype to production. 15% — Collaboration & Integration: Partner with product, data, and platform teams to translate requirements into scalable, well-architected solutions. 15% — Quality & Reliability: Write testable, maintainable code and support the performance, scalability, and reliability of deployed services. Tech EnvironmentLanguage: Python Focus: AI/ML — model development, integration, and deployment Domain: Healthcare-tech commerce and financing platform RequirementsStrong professional experience building production Python applications Hands-on AI/ML background (model development, integration, or deployment) Experience designing and consuming APIs and building scalable services Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals — testing, version control, code quality Ability to work onsite in Charlotte, NC, four days per week Nice to HaveExperience in healthcare, fintech, or commerce/marketplace environments Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Exposure to data pipelines, MLOps, or model-serving infrastructure Benefits
