Claude Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

Location: New York City, NY / New Jersey (Hybrid) Responsibilities Work directly with enterprise customers to design, build, and deploy AI applications powered by Claude LLMs . Gather business requirements and translate them into production-ready AI solutions. Develop AI agents, RAG applications, MCP servers, workflows, and enterprise automation solutions. Integrate Claude with enterprise applications using REST APIs, databases, and cloud services. Build scalable backend services using Python or TypeScript . Design prompts, evaluation pipelines, and AI workflows to improve model accuracy and business outcomes. Implement secure, production-grade AI systems with monitoring, logging, and testing. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Solution Architects, and customer stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle. Travel to customer sites when required (approximately 25–50%). Required Skills 5+ years of software engineering or solution engineering experience. Hands-on experience with Claude API, OpenAI, or other enterprise LLM platforms. Experience building: Agentic AI applications RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) AI workflow automation Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or Chroma. Knowledge of LangGraph , LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI frameworks. Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Excellent customer-facing communication and consulting skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience deploying enterprise AI solutions in production. Knowledge of prompt engineering, AI evaluation frameworks, and AI safety. Familiarity with cloud databases, Snowflake, or Databricks. Experience working in consulting, professional services, or customer implementation teams.
