Neurocrine Biosciences seeks an Account Specialist for the Ridgewood, NJ territory to drive product promotion and growth in neuropsychiatry. The role involves managing physician relationships, executing territory sales strategies, and educating healthcare providers on approved products across multiple care settings.
Responsibilities
- Drive product acceptance through targeted education and strategic account management in assigned territory
- Execute territory sales strategies via in-person and virtual engagement to meet sales objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with psychiatrists, neurologists, nurses, case managers, and payers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with managed care, marketing, and medical science teams
- Maintain full field presence Monday-Friday with flexibility for occasional evening/weekend events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science or related field
- Minimum 4 years commercial pharma/biotech experience; 3+ years specialty pharmaceutical or neurology sales preferred
- Experience with Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Veeva, or similar business intelligence platforms
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance environments
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reside within assigned geographic territory
